Renewable energy systems under 40kW such as wind turbines and solar electric arrays can be interconnected and net metered under Jackson Electric Cooperative’s renewable energy program. Incentive programs are in place to help offset the cost of renewable energy systems (see Rebates and Incentives).

Jackson Electric Cooperative voluntarily practices and utilizes the Wisconsin Public Service Commission guidelines and application forms.  We also support and follow the Wisconsin Administrative Code part 119 - Rules for Interconnecting Distributed Generation Facilities.
