Starting in September 2010, high school sophomores, juniors and seniors will have an opportunity to learn more about cooperative principles, develop leadership skills, and explore careers in a cooperative.
The Youth Ambassador Program will give students the opportunity to learn about the functions of a board of directors by preparing a case study throughout the school year; touring our wholesale power supplier, Dairyland Power Cooperative; visiting a job site; taking part in community events; and taking advantage of leadership activities at the UW-River Falls and Washington DC.
To learn more about this program, click on the following or contact Jackson Electric Cooperative. Please return the application form to Jackson Electric Cooperative by July 31, 2010.
