Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs and oversees the wiring, installation, testing, calibration, and repairing of all three-phase and single-phase meters, load management receivers, generators, and solar equipment.
- Conducts programming and diagnostics on meters as necessary, ensuring all readings are accurate.
- Has extensive member contact through phone and in-person communications.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education & Experience:
- Master Electrician license is preferred, Journeyman Electrician license acceptable.
- Technical college degree in an electrical-related field is preferred.
- Meter Technician certification preferred.
- Technical and Professional Skills:
- Must have, or be able to learn and maintain, a working knowledge of load management and metering systems.
- Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while performing job functions and technical work.
