Finance and Accounting Analyst I
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Finance & Accounting Analyst I supports the Finance department in providing timely financial reporting and maintaining accurate accounting records for a member-owned electric cooperative. Responsibilities include finance support (budgeting assistance, forecasting inputs, variance analysis, and management/Board reporting) and core accounting support (month-end close activities, reconciliations, and payables/cash processing). The position also provides backup coverage for work order workflows and supports cooperative-specific processes, including capital credits administration and member inquiries.
Successful candidates are detail-oriented, analytical, comfortable working in Excel-based reporting, and interested in learning utility and cooperative accounting concepts within a collaborative team environment.
